Low Carbon Living Blue Mountains brings together businesses with a shared belief in fighting climate change through practical action. It promotes and rewards those businesses that have made the choice to tackle climate change head-on through their own business operations. Furthermore, it empowers consumers to reduce their own carbon footprint by choosing businesses that have a track record in emissions reduction.

Participating businesses are divided into the following four categories:

• Restaurants/Cafes
• Accommodation (e.g. hotels, motels, B&Bs)
• Activities (e.g. visitor centres, galleries, education)
• Transport (including tours)
