Torrens University Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS) is an innovative, high tech multicultural environment where students pursue university level hospitality studies.

Dining room carpets are made from recycled fishing line and foyer floorboards are bamboo. Power and water saving devices are due to be installed as an expenditure priority.  Improving waste management systems, composting and reuse of organic waste, as well as adding solar panels have been recommended by the carbon audit. Energy bills average between $13,000 per month in the winter and $10,000 in the summer, currently supplied by Integral Energy.

BMIHMS courses are delivered across three custom designed campuses. Undergraduate students study on campus at Leura in the Blue Mountains at the School’s Practical Learning Centre - where they study and train a simulated hotel and restaurant environment - before moving on to complete their degree at our Executive Business Centre in Sydney. Postgraduate students also study at the Sydney Campus, located in the heart of the city. The third campus, allowing for study abroad experience and pathways, is located in Suzhou, China.
