The Blue Mountains Heritage Centre is committed to lowering its carbon footprint with energy efficient lighting, heating and cooling; solar hot water; worm farming. Only Australian made products, maps, books and coffee are on sale.
Drop into the National Parks and Wildlife Services, Blue Mountains Heritage Centre, for expert advice on walks, plants and animals; Aboriginal heritage and local history. We are located close to Govetts Leap lookout, with spectacular views across the Grose Valley. The accessible walking track leads from the Centre to Govetts leap picnic area and scenic views.
The adventurous will also find detailed guides and maps for long walks to remote areas such as Acacia Flat campground. Log your walk intentions with NPWS staff or hire a free Personal Location Beacon if you are heading off on a bushwalk.
