Kurrara Historic Guest House

Built in 1902, Kurrara is the original house of the Coomonderry Estate, nestled on a quiet corner between Katoomba and Leura, and surrounded by cold-climate gardens. 

The studio is furbished with a photo voltaic (PV) solar array, and lighting and most water fixtures throughout the guesthouse are high efficiency. We offer recycling, and biodegradable waste is composted on site 

With 8 beautifil rooms on offer, you can choose your favourite from three large spa suites with 4-poster beds, and five upstairs rooms with private en suites, and all are individually decorated.
Settle into our leather chesterfields in our guest lounge  and sip tea with new or old friends. Hunker down by the fire in our cosy library to watch a DVD, enjoy good conversation, read a book or play a game of chess or scrabble.
